That sounds like a TdF stage...
It was close. And you think my day was hard...JT, Joe, and Chris took a wrong turn and went 5 miles out in the wrong direction - DOWNHILL. So that was an additional 5 miles climbing for them. And our mechanic didn't have a Campy tool so JT had to do the entire climb on a 23. Yeah. I think that's what happens to cyclists when they go to hell.
And the French music in my head? Totally TdF. Today up Mt. Pisga (85 miles) I will continue the motif with some Stereolab. My felt tired walking down the stairs this morning. Awesome.
AIR for the whole climb! Damnit man, put some Zeppelin in there! A climb like this sounds like "Fool in the Rain" fodder...
It was more "Dazed and Confused." But if I'd had that chord progression in my head I wouldn't have made it.
Seriously, I'm so jealous. What an awesome camp!
